The Investment Operations Analyst position is a middle-office role that prepares and places trades (bond, stock, and mutual fund) as approved by the Trustees with the firmâs brokers, oversees investment performance measurement of client portfolios across two major custodians, supports the Investment Group and the Operations Group in a number of critical data gathering and reporting tasks, including the preparation of global reviews of client assets and the pricing and monitoring of hedge fund positions, and undertakes other investment research, operations and account administration duties as assigned.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Serve as an Analyst working with both the Operations Team and the Investment Group supporting a $2.0B asset portfolio of trust accounts as well as investment accounts held in a wholly-owned subsidiary RIA. The ideal candidate will be able to multi-task under pressure with minimal supervision. Some of the responsibilities will include:
• Prepare and place trades (bond, stock, and mutual fund) with brokers with exceptional attention to detail for both trust and RIA accounts
• Attend weekly Investment Committee Meetings with Trustees and record changes to trade programs recommended and approved from the floor in those meetings.
• Communicate completed trades to Operations Group and ensure that all trade information is successfully and accurately recorded in the firmâs accounting system, FIS Addvantage
• Track all trades in process and awaiting final review and maintain ownership of all trading-related processes
• Be prepared to place trades as needed during trading hours upon Trustee request for both trust and approved discretionary accounts
• Maintain relationships with RHBâs brokers and complete âknow your clientâ paperwork and compliance paperwork as necessary
• Support account-opening process and prepare and file necessary paperwork as requested for RIA accounts on the Fidelity platform
• Assist with compiling data and preparing reports to fulfill compliance reporting requirements with the SEC
• Learn RHBâs performance-measurement system, Zephyr, and oversee monitoring of all performance measurement reports for client accounts. Prepare custom performance reports as requested by Trustees.
• Receive monthly pricing and performance reports for external private investment holdings and communicate necessary information to Operations Team to ensure these holdings are updated appropriately in the firmâs trust accounting system
• Perform global reviews of client assets across all accounts, grouping investments into appropriate categories to allow asset allocation reviews across accounts and custodians both within and external to RHB/MDA
• Perform data analysis work as requested by members of the Investment Group, including preparation for asset allocation reviews, attribution analysis of performance history, and compliance-related data pulls as requested.
• Support members of the Investment Group in conducting investment research and preparing for account reviews
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related major or demonstrated work experience equivalent. MBA or CFA a plus.
• 2-7 years relevant professional experience
• Exceptional attention to detail and emphasis on accuracy
• Comfort and ability to operate within a small team and independently as necessary
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Advanced organizational skills with the ability to multi-task multiple high priority responsibilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs. VBA and SQL a plus.
